NY Interfaith Wedding Ceremony at Capitale, 130 Bowery, NY, NY

On Friday, October 2, 2009 the beautiful Zahida Virani married the very handsome Abi Subramanian at Capitale in NYC. The ceremony was performed by NY Interfaith Minister, Wedding Celebrant, Rev. Jeddah Vailakis. The NY wedding venue, Capitale is one of the most striking in NYC – bold and dramatic. Abi & Zahida are an interfaith couple, Hindu and Muslim respectively. Abi’s Aunt took my hand before the ceremony and said, “you know Jeddah, it is not just about two people joining, two families are joining as well”. She said this with the sweetest and most sincere tone. There was an excitement that one side of the family had for the other. The exploring of cultures and the expansion of family were sweet promises to look forward to.
